Erasmus Academic Staff Mobility for Teaching

Incoming faculty members  are encouraged to visit at TAU under the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program.

If you are interested in the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program for Teaching at TAU, you are kindly asked to contact the relevant department/faculty member and ask for a letter of invitation.

 

Planning Your Visit

Staff members who visit TAU as part of the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program for teaching must submit a detailed invitation letter from a faculty memember at TAU that includes: period of visit, hours of teaching and teaching topics.
Please take into consideration that according to the Erasmus+ regulations, incoming faculty members who receive a teaching scholarship are required to teach at least 8 academic weekly hours.  
The teaching plan shall be arranged directly with the relevant department (namely, the faculty member that invites you to TAU).

 

Submitting your application

Please complete TAU's Application form and submit all the required documents through the form (the online form allows you to upload the required documents).

Please note that you must upload all the required documents before submitting your application form.

 

Documents Required:

  1. Invitation letter from a faculty member at TAU, as mentioned above. 
  2. Nomination letter from the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Coordinator at the sending institution.
  3. CV.
  4. Photocopy of your passport which must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned arrival date to Israel
  5. Proof of comprehensive health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay. 

 

Confirmation of Mobility Agreement

After successfully completing the TAU application form, please e-mail us your Mobility Agreement signed by your sending institution.

Only our office, the Office of International Academic Affairs at TAU, can confirm your mobility and sign your Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement.

Please note that the Mobility Agreement can only be signed and approved by our office after submitting all relevant documents mentioned above.

 

 

Information regarding the required health insurance:

Staff members who arrive at Tel Aviv University must be equipped with full medical insurance that includes medical coverage in the event of illness, accidents, or any other event that requires medical services. Such insurance must be arranged and paid by the incoming faculty/staff member and suited to his/her medical needs for the duration of the stay at Tel Aviv University, commencing from the departure from the home country until the subsequent return (including travel). Tel Aviv University will not be able to assist faculty/staff members in case of an emergency or any medical event if they do not have the required insurance.
