Instructions for Erasmus Staff for Training
Incoming staff members for training are encouraged to visit at TAU under the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program.
Planning Your Visit
Staff members who visit TAU as part of the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program for training must submit a detailed agenda noting meeting dates with relevant contacts at TAU. The minimum required total hours of all meetings is 10 hours per week, taking place on at least five days per week.
Incoming staff should plan their agenda independently by contacting the relevant staff members at TAU. A general list of contacts is available here.
After scheduling the meetings, please complete TAU's agenda form. Contacts must sign and return the form.
Submitting your application
Please complete TAU's application form and submit all the required documents through the form (the online form allows you to upload the required documents).
Please note that you must upload all the required documents before submitting your application form.
- Signed agenda form, as mentioned above
- Nomination letter from the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Coordinator at the sending institution
- Photocopy of your passport which must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned arrival date to Israel
- Proof of comprehensive health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay.
Confirmation of Mobility Agreement
After completing the TAU application form, please e-mail us your Mobility Agreement signed by your sending institution.
Only our office, the Office of International Academic Affairs at TAU, can confirm your mobility and sign your Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement.
Please note that the Mobility Agreement can only be signed and approved by our office after submitting all relevant documents mentioned above.
Information regarding the required health insurance:
Staff members who arrive at Tel Aviv University must be equipped with full medical insurance that includes medical coverage in the event of illness, accidents, or any other event that requires medical services. Such insurance must be arranged and paid by the incoming faculty/staff member and suited to his/her medical needs for the duration of the stay at Tel Aviv University, commencing from the departure from the home country until the subsequent return (including travel). Tel Aviv University will not be able to assist faculty/staff members in case of an emergency or any medical event if they do not have the required insurance.
